How much does Blair pay?
We pay 70% of gross for Tractor Only, 71% of gross for Multiple Tractors, 77% of gross for Tractor and Trailer, and 78% of gross for multiple Tractors and Trailers. The operator also gets 100% of the fuel surcharge.

When do I get paid?
Blair operators are paid through direct deposit every Friday. The pay cycle is Tuesday through Monday at midnight. Paperwork must be sent by Transflo no later than midnight Monday to get paid that Friday.

What is the age limit on a truck?
Trucks produced in 2015 and newer.

How long is New Contractor Education?
Our New Contractor Education lasts 3 days. It starts on Monday’s. Once it is complete, contractors get their first load.

What are Blair’s qualifying requirements?
Blair requires all our contractors be at least 22 years old, have 1 year OTR experience, 6 months of flatbed experience in the last 10 years. A contractor cannot have, DUI in the last 5 years or felonies within 10 years; cannot fail or refuse a drug/alcohol test; and are prohibited from reckless driving.

How does dispatch work?
Drivers will be assigned a driver manager, who works with a load planner to find freight. Driver managers are there to help operators with anything they may need. In addition, we utilize preplanning to ensure our contractors get reloaded with the least amount of layover and empty miles.

Does Blair offer a maintenance account?
Drivers can take advantage of an optional payroll deduction that allows them to put money aside for unforeseen emergencies.

Does Blair have national discounts?
Blair Logistics offers a fuel discount program through several different vendors, including but not limited to Pilot, Loves and Flying J across the country. Blair also has a national tire account and a discount on equipment from Utility Trailer Sales.
