Congratulations, David W., on being selected as our April Contractor of the Month!

David has been part of the Blair family since 2018 and runs out of Valdosta, GA, under Driver Manager Joey J. In 2020, he was recognized as December Contractor of the Month. Though David retired in 2021, he felt the call to return to the road—and picked up right where he left off.

David demonstrates a powerful combination of hard work and a safety-first mindset. As a former AL DOT officer early in his career, he knows just how dangerous the trucking industry can be and always puts safety above all else. With zero CSA points on his record, he clearly understands and adheres to DOT regulations.

David can best be described as self-motivated, patient, and reliable. He consistently displays exceptional time management and serves as a mentor to several drivers out of the Valdosta terminal, sharing wisdom gained from years of experience.

His Driver Manager, Joey, who has worked with David for many years, shares:

“David is one of the most reliable drivers on my board. To this day, he sends pictures of every load, and the securement is always perfect. I’ve never seen an issue with his HOS, and he’s always on schedule for every delivery. He communicates well and always lets me know in advance if anything might cause a delay. I’m grateful to work with guys like David.”
