Congratulations to Kenny W. for being named the 2022 Blair Contractor of the Year!

Kenny is an 11-year operator under Blair with 27 years of driving experience. He’s driven tankers, refers, dump trucks, and flatbeds throughout his years as a contractor. He started driving at age 25 in his hometown Natchez, MS. He ran local routes for a while until he realized over the road was the next step in his trucking career.

He landed at Blair in 2010 and has thrived ever since. He has paid off 3 trucks with Blair! He’s been awarded multiple safety awards, Contractor of the Month in 2018 and 2022, Contractor of the Quarter in 2022, and is a Million Mile Safe Contractor.

Kenny and his lovely wife Patricia have been together since 1990. They have 5 children: Kentricia, Kyiesha, Kenny Jr., Kasasha, and Kailiah. They live in Natchez, MS.

Kenny’s advice to new contractors is to listen to those with experience and success as a contractor. Use what lessons they teach you and learn from what they do. Most importantly take your time with everything. It’s easy to make mistakes that can cost you. Taking your time will save you and make you money.
