We’re excited to welcome Jake J. to the Blair Million Safe Mile Club!

Jake began his trucking career in 2010 and worked for three other companies before finding his home at Blair in 2017, which was his first lease-purchase company.

Since joining the Blair family in July 2017, Jake has had zero DOT-recordable accidents and has gone eight years without a single claim. He’s highly respected among his peers and within the Blair family.

Jake was inspired to start trucking by several family members already in the industry and wanted to create a better life for his family. He’s married to his wife, Carmilya, and together they have three children: Vayle, Ja’vyn, and Camron Means. His family continues to motivate him to succeed and keep on trucking.

Throughout his career, Jake has witnessed how easily everyday accidents can happen, which drives him to stay vigilant and prioritize safety behind the wheel every single day.
